Students aiming at diplomas will not study hard, and they just try to get by in exams, which have a negative effect on the academic atmosphere in college.
There is one effective way to deal with the problem. That is, employers should put more attention to their candidates’ abilities. They may ask the candidates to complete a certain task so as to test their abilities. In this way, only the really competent candidates have opportunities to get employed. And people will be aware that diplomas alone do not work.
